On
social networking sites (SNS), like
Facebook, friends are the people
on the same SNS that you have added as a
contact from within your own profile. On some social networking sites you may be required
to accept a person's friend request before they can see your profile, on other
sites it may be an automatic linking with no permission requested or required.
